My culling of the herd question was a satirical/rhetorical question, and not an opinion as such.;)

You seem to be trying to conflate the issues above. My aversion to vaccines, for myself, has nothing to do with ethics. I just do not like needles or putting foreign substances into my body (no matter how safe they may be) and, most importantly, I rarely catch viruses any more. As I clearly stated above, I recommend all forms of medical treatment for others and I would have no problem taking therapeutics, if needed.

And, let's say that a new, absolutely fatal disease (e.g., a respiratory transmissible combination of leprosy, ebola, and flesh eating bacteria) came out and there was a vaccine, I would likely take it. For a simple flu like Covd-19 in which 99.8% of the population survives, however? No way. That vaccine is for the weak and vulnerable and, of course, the healthy people who have been scared into their caves by the panic porn.

One of the problems with threads like this, in which we combine real facts and issues along with comical interspersions (often in the same post,) is that some readers struggle to understand the posts. The good news is that my Understanding Advanced Context Tinfoil Hat is going through the final stages of Beta testing and should be released before the end of the year. Help is on the way!!!!

I have struggled with this on many threads since I joined DP back in 2011. I had always presumed it was because English is not my first language, and my humor just didn't come across right. *try being funny in another language, not easy

I am very fussy about American English writing (as a native speaker who tutored freshman English in college) and I can pick out an English as a Second Language writer quickly. However, I have never ever gotten any such indication from your posts. You write American English fluently and perfectly as far as I can tell.

I don't want to jump to conclusions, but it is possible that you need my Universal Translation Tinfoil Hat. You might want to come in to one of our kiosks for a complete evaluation and tinfoil hat recommendation.

I want one, send by UPS right away! Italian is the most beautiful language there is. (this is *NOT* up for debate) However even though I worked in Milano (Milan) for 6 months when younger (we worked in French/English), I never was able to pick it up. I know perhaps 100 words at most in Italian. (can order in Italian from a menu, ask directions etc.)

I cannot wait until I receive your Universal Translation Model tinfoil hat. As soon as I put it on, I will be singing Italian operas to all my lucky neighbors!:D:cool::)

All joking aside someone should start a tinfoil hat business (don't know, maybe it already exists), it will have a bunch of loyal customers. You just need to come up with a durable, washable, etc. tinfoil and then incorporate it into your regular hats.

    ^^^^this.
I assume that most countries will not allow you to enter unless had a vaccine. ie no vaccine = you will not be able to travel internationally.
