    Apparently, the developers were only able to invest in the initial promotion.. that's where they got it wrong. Most applications are either long-term advertised or promoted by its fans on a non-commercial basis.

    It's nonsense that less known apps exist for ages and have no privacy scandals, while others become popular at once and lose users' data in 1 month. And they will remain the same popular as people don't usually care about their data..
