Well i just secured the only domain that will has the potential to go up against dnoa

now we all know that dnoa is dead, they are not taking new members at all

So here is my domain : DNOC.ORG (Domain Name Owners Certification)
**It sounds so damn good "D-NOC"

And im willing to get a new script coded with in 32 hours if this idea is unanimously loved.

Ofcourse ill have a special discount for dp members ;)

    So what you guys/gals think?
    Should i go for it?

Possibly could work, but you may have to launch an expensive advertising campaign to get any major backing. Why did DNOA fail and what will you do differently?

DNOA didnt fail, they just stopped functioning, people still sign up there and get a refund 3-5 days alter

its definatly a great idea but the owner of dnoa left or lost interest i guess

anyway mine will have a couple more features such as member pages with a list of all their domains and developed sites and their usernames on DP and NP :D

Make sure you write up a detailed plan. Just remember that tomorrow dnoa could start accepting new members. Good luck.

When did this happen? I almost always see a DNOA button in people's profiles on NP.

One of the things that excited me the most when I signed up as a DNOA "Founding Member" was that they promised to offer nice discounts to domainers. If you are a member, you can check the discounts area and see that the discounts really aren't that great. The whois protection is nice, but you still have to list your email address. And it is disappointing that it seems to have died. If you can secure some great discounts for your members, and offer a 1 day only free signup day, then I'm sure you could get some nice exposure. Good luck!

I wonder why they would let it die though. It seems like the person(s) that own it could make a handy sum of money off of it.

Thats because the owner of DNOA is the owner of Namepros, and all dnoa singups go through a screening process, and 20$ for 4 hours per member is not worth it for a guy who makes 6 figures each month, lol.

    I thought everybody knew that

Let me know when you get it going. If not I already have a domain name picked out and a package in the works.

I was thinking of providing a tough screening process with less or no fee at all, but if people start getting in this kinda site business for the money then i might not do this.
And as for bonuses :D :D doesnt matter if i ask for money or not everyone will be treated the same!! :D and i have waaay toooo much planned

I love doing community projects but not when people who are obsessed with money/profit involved in the same line.

On the other hand i am working on a concept which im keeping as a secret weapon might take that out later.

Well you kinda did throw the wrong vibe, im solely making a site that makes scamming scarce if not totally then by a little at least, a tough screening process is a part of it.

Money is not my concern in this project, i always do these kind of community projects.

And mine will e ready with in the quote my coder gave me and will be functional and online! :)

Im sure ill make this site, hehe, no question about it

Not sure how my vibe had anything do do with scamming but ok...
I would not consider this a "community" project especially if it will be represented worldwide.
So ya I have a bit of apprehension on this.
