SEO for WordPress

I have a couple of WordPress sites and it seems like nothing I can do to get it properly search engine optimized. I am doing everything that I have read and I still seem to get a low SEO score. Any suggestions?

I think you are checking your SEO score in any plugin like Yoast. I will suggest you to add your website in Google webmaster tools and wait for few days ....... If any issues on site you can see there. And one more thing in SEO you can not say that i did everything because SEO is name of update, so accoding to me there are always few things remaining to do in SEO for best result.

 

Your SEO score indicates how well optimized your website is for organic search. But there are so many factors that affect SEO scores. I have listed some below.

1. Title tag: Your website title tag should be between 20 to 70 characters.
2. Meta description: Meta description should be between 70 and 160 characters.
3. Heading tag: Your website's homepage and every page should have heading tags.
4. Alt tags in images: Every image should have alt tags.
5. language tag: Your website should be declared a primary language.
6. Internal and external link: Internal link is important for SEO score but should include a relevant external link as well.
7. Robots.txt
8. Sitemap
9. Facebook open graph
10. Canonical link
11. Broken link
12. Schema or site structure.
13. Twitter card.
14. Website backlinks
15. Website Visitors

These are the common things that affect SEO scores. But there are lots more also.
Well, the SEO score is introduced by third-party tools. Google never cares about the SEO score. If your site has good articles and backlinks then your site will rank on Google. I will suggest you create more good articles and do some backlinks work and marketing on YouTube, Facebook and other social media as well. SEO takes time. It's won't work magically.

 

You can use some premium tools to get a better result. Like ahrefs is good from my site. There are also many premium tools available, that you can try. There are lots of plugins you may try:

• HubSpot.
• All in One SEO.
• Yoast SEO.
• MonsterInsights.
• Rank Math.
• Premium SEO Pack.
• WP Meta SEO.
• W3 Total Cache

Hello friends, I use Rank Math plugin for SEO on my site. In the instant indexing section, there are two options, one is Google API settings and the second IndexNow API settings. By default, the second option is enabled, but the first option is not enabled. Do you think it is necessary to activate the first option, i.e. Google API settings, for a better index?

 

Yahoo and Bing use the IndexNow API and is fine to use.
Google has stated that their API is currently only to be used by specific types of sites that need instant indexation. Those are job listings and events- that can't wait days or weeks to be indexed. Using Googles API will get your content indexed, but there are risks.

SEO is the same for every page. Only some solutions may differ depending on the technology used in which the website was created.

 

I have a site where I copy articles from other sites and insert the source link at the end of the article. But I will include the source link of the original article as a nofollow link. In your opinion, the link to the original article should be a nofollow link or a follow link?

 

Your wasting your time and you should find a new line of work.

 

what do you mean? Can you explain more? I started this site only for the purpose of guest posting or selling advertising posts.

 

I think @kjh-08 is right .... For guest posting you need some reputation to your website because with low reputation no one will want to get backlinks from your website and if you are copying contents from another website then its a bit hard to get good reputation. One or two contents is ok (If very informative and you want to add to your site also), but all contents from other website is not good practice.

Very simple example, if this technique is working then i want to own another ezinearticles (Article directory). I will copy all contens with reference links to our article directory and if i get 30% traffics of ezinearticles site then can earn lots .... but its not possible because search engines always prefer something new and you have to serve people some unique, new information or ideas, if want to earn good reputation online.
