What's better than backlinks on forums or guest posts?

Hi all. I've read a lot of threads here about what the title of this thread says, but did not find an answer to this question. I hope you can help me decide.

 

First of all most of popular and reputed forums like DP using nofollow and so these forums will help you to get traffics and improve branding ..... Best one is create informative and unique contents at your website ... If your blog post is good then people will link them automatically and this process known as natual link building ..... You can provide free tools or white papers from / related to your niche markets to get backlinks from other related websites.

 

Both are fine if they allow dofollow limks

 

Only dofollow links not good for branding ... Just try to get backlinks from high quality and reputed websites ...... Mix dofollow / nofollow backlinks will increase your branding and popularity both ... For example DP is using nofollow but you can see in many backlinks tools like HREFs that he will show backlinks from this forums also. So only dofollow links are not necessary.

 

Forum posting is better, reason in both guest posting and forum posting you will be awarded by backing but you can not change your content after posting as a guest post. but in forum you can ask to many people and and you can post there your query with your link.

No need to follow blogger guest posting rules, no need to write long article for every guest post. write only once and post in to different-2 forum with your link.

 

What is this?? Are you defining about forums posting or spamming multiple forums with same contents ????

 

All other things being equal, a backlink from a guest post holds more weight than a forum link. Because a link from a forum is considered UGC (user generated content) meaning it's easier for anyone to post a link in a forum. As with guest posts, hopefully there's a higher standard of quality, factual, etc before publishing.

 

The more traffic on the site, the stronger the link from it, as forums are now losing popularity, then the link from guest posts will be better.

 

If we are talking about forums and guest blogging, which is the best for link building, then I would like to suggest to you that guest blogging is the best now because we need to add and submit our content to others blogs as guests, and through this way we will get good traffic as well as quality backlinks through this platform. Most people are not using forums for link building. Yes, we can make profile links on that, and when we discuss, people can visit our website through profile links as well as from signature links. Through this way, we can get good traffic, but for backlinks, many experts are not using forums.
