A) Thinking to start a business directory like Yelp, JustDial, etc
Vs
B) Social Media sites like Facebook, Linkedin, etc
vs
C) Forums like CitiData, DigitalPoint, etc
Vs
D) News Search Engine just like the Google News search Engine (in many languages) to have news updates every minute in many languages

1) Need your suggestion guys, which one or more are good ideas, and which one or more are not good ideas?

2) if you like one or more ideas, please explain why do you think it would be the best idea.

3) If you don't like one or more ideas, please explain why you think it is not a good idea to start such as a website or business

If you have the manpower and intelligence build a forum. You can attract people to it and with every post that they make, they're creating free content for you on your site. Plus Google loves forums.

 

Do not waste your time on the trifles.

The third option seems to me the most practical because now many similar sites are in active demand. People need to communicate, change knowledge and experience, as well as sell or buy services such as link building, guest posts and other things.

You given all ideas are good and can do better with ..... But as @Randall Magwood saying, you need a team to manage them properly to serve quality to visitors ...... These types of portals or sites will receive lots of garbage and you need to filter them on regular basis.

Nice idea, appreciate the suggestion. Just wondering if I become a god and create the universe then I would lose interest in the physical world or universe because God is more interested in the spiritual world not the physical so what is the point of creating the 2nd universe and world since I am going to lose the interest. After the pain, sorrow, and negative humans will create more problems.

Forums seem like a good option. Online directories aren't bad either, but can be difficult to manage.

 

I think directory management is a bit easier than forums management. In directory you need to approve submission only but at forums have to manage many things spam posts, replies etc. and many more activities.

 

Try to find a niche you are very interested in and try to form a community around it.

If you can identify a group of people with shared interests who aren't already well-served by existing forums, this could be a promising route. However you need good community management and moderation.

 

I recommend starting a forum. Forums are easy to jump-start and can lead to lasting passive income. Please bear in mind that it does require work and time. PTP forums are becoming popular these days, and you must consider what will be the angle that yours will take.
