    The site is

    http://health.relatednews.info/

It is a WordPress blog which hosts health related articles. Since I don't have enough knowledge to write health articles on my own, I am using articles from those royalty free article sites like iSnare.

Please review my Adsense placement. Also I am very much new to this niche. Can you guys please point me to some place where I can start promoting this particular niche? Right now I am relying on digg and also Google SERP.

Also how effective it will be to pay someone to write unique keyword rich articles for me? Will it bring better results than these free sites? What is the average pay for these small scale article writers?

I like the top horizontal ads unit :)

You may want to try shifting the link unit on the right to the bottom under the category (most people will notice the Ads by Google when their eyes scroll from your content to the navigations).

For the ads unit on the right.. I think it is grabbing too much unwanted attention..

First I thought I must blend it perfectly to the background color. But then it looks too blended that it might get ignored. So I thought of trying a contrasting layout.

About the link unit, you might be right. I shall try shifting it downwards.

the right column skyscraper ad seems too crammed for space. open it up more there with some whitespace but i like the placement.

as for the top... sorry, but i hate ads that look like that. BAM right in your face as soon as you open the site. It gives off a bad taste in my mouth as soon as i get to your site. either bos it off and make it look like it's own content or ditch it.

Can you make the horizontal ad color a little bit darker so that users will be attracted and will click it. According to me I think it also a content of your page and skip and go down to the articles. Link units placement is very good.

Should I make the link color darker or background contrasting?

@cagintranet, I know that sky scraper is hogging space. Still I want to see if I can get some clicks there. The traffic has only started flowing.

And guys I want to know if the following placement is ok. That is, placing an ad under the title of the blog post i.e. in between the title and the blog entry.
