Article directory & link directory --> dead, outdated. Article directorys face duplicate content penalty(most of them) and link directories are visited by webmaster.

There are 1000s of niches making money. Its a question of having something useful, and unique. You may create soemthing unique in any niche which you knows well.

 

Hmmm people can make money from link directories - although personally i'd say if you want to make money from adsense its pretty pointless running a directory just for the sack of it - sure you get the hits but not the click throughs as visitors (especially general directories) tend to be submitters or bots indexing your site - hence pointless for directory adsense blocks.

 

Classified ads for avatars. (Im selling avatar-ads.com). Maybe something like text-link-ads.com or something free like craigslist.com Anyways, its a unique advertising niche that hasnt been targeted yet.

 

Your idea of a forum is OK .... except that there's so many of 'em, and chances are profit will be low, if not non-existant. Only well established ones (like DP) will make any decent money at it.

i have noticed the Adsense guid or SEO guid sites are getting papularity?

 

how about selling a script?

 

You can also create a site with articles or a blog.

 

What about finding a community of people with a strong interest and basing a site aroun that- ie war or warcraft or a problem like high blood pressure?
Obviously it should be something you either are interested in or knowledgable about.

Find some sort of unique micro-niche, and make a blog, news site, or forum around it. These kinds of sites seem to be working very well lately.

 

Or a software application - find something thats needed or needs improving and get it made either by teaming up with someone or paying someone from rentacoder... thats what im doing!

 

hmm... that;s what i am looking... for ideas? i am a expert level devloper i belive, that's I am planing to start my own work instead of working for other... a script or a websites which really grow!!

 

Well find something you feel passionate about or something that already exsists but that you feel falls short of the mark and could be improved by your skills. If you going for something that already exsists you really need an edge, something that will make your application stand out from the rest.

Im in the process of developing a very unique revolutionary directory semi automated submission application - theres nothing like it on the market - on the downside though its so complex its taking ages to get working...

yes i planned to develope link directory which can beat pld easily... and going to low price ... but got so many reservation for now.... and article directory ... i have already develop 2 types at big level working live over the internet... planiing to make it comercial... and going to beat articledashboard... and price planing to have is around $50....

 

Personally i'd say its a little late for another directory script unfortunately... there have been quite a few releases of new directory scripts however so saying i don't think i've seen an asp based directory script as yet.

Moving away from directories though i've got a few ideas on other smaller plugins and applications that could potentially make some money...

Think about a concept as real estate. Build an online property, get traffic and get rent with your visitors. I do believe strongly into glocalisation: make the web more local on a big scale. 60 Billions bucks from TV are on their way every year to the web. We just are into 2007. Think 2017. Web + Local + Ads + Content + Service = Traffic and $$$$$$$$. Good luck.

BTW: I have an idea/concept of a big internet nichel, I need at least 300K to start it to pay some programmers and webmasters for it. It could be a multi-million $ website in 2 years. The key is how to find the angel? Good luck!
