First, make sure you blend the ad units so they match the link color on your page.

Second, placing rectangular ad units between your posts is usually a more effective layout.

Place link units in your website blending with the menu. For me it makes more money than the ads.

the background around the text-links up top needs change to match the background of the navigation and google ads.

you have no other ads that i see. try adding a skyscraper to the sidebar styled with the same color green and maybe black background to help make it stand out.

thanks for the suggestions . ive added a sky scrapper to the sidebar but i think its a little to close to the content . ill try it out on my website tommorow to see how it performs . and do i need to put a border around it or can i leave it open like how it is . another thing i was wondering would it be better if i used a more subtle adlink unit instead of the skyscraper .

how could they have taken a dive already? you have only been using adsense for a week. ask anyone using adsense....it fluctuates a lot. testing a technique out is for weeks, not days. be patient, it wont happen overnight.

Why? Did you not see this from my last quote: "testing a technique out is for weeks, not days. be patient, it wont happen overnight."

but anyway... everything looks good... kinda the same, but good enough. Sit back and worry more about SEO and traffic generation rather than the ads.

your right im just going to let things marinnate . i guess since ive always been able to genarate traffic fairly easy that ive never really concentrated on seo. but now that i have my ads place pretty much where i want them , i think ill concentrate more on key words and seo . once again thanks everyone for their help :D much appreciated
