This is one is good.
http://www.stevenashfans.info/steve-nash-biography.htm My screen resolution is 1024x768. The alignment of text is little bit out. Arrange it then the site looks pretty good in all ways.

 

The second one will make more money

 

The ads on the first one were really offensive to my eyes. Too confusing. The second one was much better.

I believe a large rectangle just below the title with the content wrapped around it is supposed to convert the best.

In addition to your three ad blocks, you can include one AdLink box.

Another vote for the second option - the ads blend better into the text - less horrible gaps in the page content!
