PayPal Help Needed!

Discussion in 'General Business' started by kalle437, Jan 15, 2007.

    Hello!
I have created an account at paypal and entered my creditcard numbers. So now I want to add money to the account. I see an option witch takes 3-4 Business Days and witch needs to be entered from my bank. And that is the only option I can find. It is strange, why did I need to enter my credit card number when I need to enter money by bank anyway?

Could someone help? Have I missed where to enter money from my creditcard? Or is it because I live in Sweden? Or don't they have such an option? :S

    Thanks for the help,
    Kalle :)

I live in the US and had to do the same thing. I can only add money from my bank account. It probably has something to do with verifying your identity and making sure they can charge your credit card if you run out of funds.

Thats exactly what it is...they do e-transfers, and therefore you have to have a bank account for them to withdraw from. When I have needed money in my paypal, it shows immediately as a withdrawel on the paypal side, but takes a few days for my bank to post it.

I solved the problem. The thing was it was to easy. I noticed that I didn't need to have any money on my account to pay with paypal. It took money from the card anyway.

Well, it worked with one purchase. For my domains, but when I wanted to pay for the host, it said I have paid up to the maximum limit :S I bought three domains.

Do I need to do a Enroll for expanded use? It costs 1,95$ and it is like a confirmation e-mail but instead of getting it to the email, you get it to the bills, a four digit number.

You will get your 1.95$ back in your account when you will enter the "four digit number".

At least you can add money. Some countries can not even do this.

A simple work around for me to add money to my PayPal account immediately, is to simply use my debit card to pay money to my account...If you have a PayPal account, you should be able to accept money in a variety of ways instantly...

Become your own customer for instant transfers...

The expander program is definitely a great idea. This will allow Paypal to verify that you are real and remove the 'limited' lock on your account and it also give the people you dealing with the assurance that you are the real card holder.

You will get a refund on the $1.95, they only use it to verify your account.
