Have about 400 to 500 domain what is the best way to make use of them

Develope them. If they are decent domains, why not go ahead and set maybe a directory on each, forums, portals etc..imagine if you could drive traffic to each within 5 years. Maybe a $1-5 per day with each site. thats 400-500$ a day earning. Then why would you want to sell them

Income from sedo is pathetic unless you have something hot... Which would pay you much more if you develop something. What is the industry we are talking about?

 

I hope you have choosed some really good domains because you'll spend 40-50 000 on renewing them in next 10 years

There are a lot of nice templates that you can get with RevenueDirect. They also just upgraded their statistics and reporting, also they like to keep clean traffic, so that means higher payouts because there is less fraud CPC traffic.

 

I have the same issue too many urls and not enough time to get them fired up and promoted.

Domain parking revenue really depends if your domain has a lot of traffic (old sites linking to it) - a lot of people coming to your parked site or if your domain is a good type-in name.

For example...

badcredit.com
auto.com
developers.com

and such.. of course, by developing above (example) names you could make zillions more than just with parking but a lot of lazy people prefer to park domains

I've been through quite a few parking co's. At one time I had close to 800 names.

I have less than 300 now and they are split between namedrive and, what I think is a new and better option, 1plus.net.

1plus.net let's you place your OWN ypn or adsense code, or other ppc banners like cj and that way you get 100% of the parking revenue.

Sedo pays terrible, like 10% of the rev they get from adsense, etc.

The hitch is that 1plus gets 1/10 rotation. That's their take. It's nothing. Take a look at http://gentlegiantmovers.com/ for an example. Hit the f5 key a few times to see the rotation to the parking co's banners.

It's too early to tell how well I've done opitimizing the pages (you can drop in meta tags and titles too), but when I do get clicks they're all mine...

 

I agree while domain sitting can be lucrative if you have that many you aren't using offer some up for sale and get some capital now.

It makes sense to me that 4chars will become expensive in a few years.

 

If these 400-500 domains are good names, the best choice is to use Google Adsense for Domains.
If they are not containing any keywords and have no typein traffic it is useful to use services, which create sites on your domains.
Such as Benepark (benepark.com) or others.
