Posting 2nd time - Ownership for a domain name!!

Hi friends,
I am posting this thread for second time coz i didnt get an answer for my question. I request you to please help.

I have a query, i just wanted to know how can i know i have the ownership of a domain name. Although i can see my name and address when i "whois" the site but i dont have anything in white paper to claim my ownership for that domain and website. Can you help me in this matter?

What is your problem with having this digital? I mean, your bank account is digital, and that's ok, right? I don't think they issue certificates for domain names...

What if some day i wanted to sell that domain name, how can is pass the ownership??

This is the digital age ya know? What's this thing you call paper???

 

I think its something the Egyptians used, but Im not sure. Let me search on wikipedia, or some other mega site that has replaced books, and Ill get back to you.

were just messing around man....i think someone already explained that the whois directory is the proof that you own your domain, just print it out. You know how many trees would have to be cut down to give out a certificate for each domain name registered out there?
