safe_mode error hosting question

This is the error I'm getting on my website, does that mean my host is in safe mode? What should I do?

Warning: curl_setopt() [function.curl-setopt]: CURLOPT_FOLLOWLOCATION cannot be activated when in safe_mode or an open_basedir is set in /home/generic/public_html/main.php on line 146

    I guess it does.

Talk to your webhost about turning safemode off

Otherwise you're stuck trying to find an alternate way of solving your problem. Is it a problem to omit that option?

What are you trying to achieve?

I get that error, when I go to my website.
I will talk to my host, or the person who design the website.
