    Hi All,

I'm new to the digital point forums. I've recently added Adsense to my site. I'm getting limited clicks and no click throughs yet.

I was hoping someone could review and give me so pointers.

    Thanks in advance!

You are using 728x90 ads at top and bottom of your page. The url color you are using is #5B5B5B. Please change the url color to blue or some other color which is very attractable such that users will click on the ads. I hope this one will help your CTR.

I thought I read somewhere that you wanted to make your links the for Adsense the same as the rest of the links on your page. I think maybe that was a Michael Chenney thing.....

yep.. changing colors may improve CTR.
though you need to blend the ads effectively.

I wasn't sure whether to blend the AdSense links on my site or to make them blue to stand out either. I would think that blended links would induce more "accidental" clicks, whereas the blue would cause more visitors to actually look at them. It'd be interesting to see which leads to better CTR.

    Thoughts?

Yashi, with all do sincerity, please start another thread asking questions about your website.

P.S. If you listen to the Michael Chenney Adsense thingy, which I did, there is a whole section dedicated to keeping the links the same color as the rest of your site links.

Thanks for the input Abhik. I realized I have some blue links and even a little bit of link difference in my others. They are not all exactly the same color. I will put them all the same color and see what happens. Maybe this Chenney dude, and you, have something there :) Thanks again.

Thanks Monad. I'm hoping the updates add more onpage optimization. Then it's off to do some serious offpage optimization.
