Site recived 12-15k uniques a day but no revenue from adsense

My site receives about 12-15k unique per day but im making about $10 or less from adsense per day.

Is that normal or should i be earning more?

my CTR is about .2% which i think is very low.

Should i go with a CPM based advertiser like TribalFusion?

shah2k, I am getting 1.5K - 2K uniques daily in an average in one site and earning $15 - $20. So in that site, 12K uniques can provide me more than $100 daily.

What is your niche and maybe you can give a URL?

 

Your CTR is very low... You should improve your ad placement. You can submit URL for review here on DP to receive any tips and advice on that. It depends on the niche but you should target a 2-5 CTR at least !

you need to get relevant ads and ads blending on pages to get higher ctr

 

its a social networking site but 50% of the activities happen in the forums

 

You should take that image down. It is a big no-no to post Adsense stats... you can post your earnings, but that's all. I know you haven't mentioned the site, but if you PM'd anyone the site they could report you. Just warning you!

Okay. Now my next question is where do your traffic come from? Is it from the membership base or is it from a totally different source? My point is that your low CTR might be due to your traffic being non targetted.

 

Oh... and secondly. Have you tried blending the ads a little more? Loose the frame and make the background the same color as the rest. Another thing that you could try is to move the ad to the "triangle" (upper left side) instead of the upper right side as it is now.

 

The revenue earned is comparatively less when compared to the number of unique visits. It should be higher!

 

with a traffic like that, 'im blessed man...why don't you try others, if adsense upsetting u...CPA for instance

 

yeah 99% of my traffic comes directly. the site is well known in the area.

what would be some good cpa programs?

 

i want to earn atleast 3-4k/month

 

btw my CTR is hovering around .04% now
