How do I place a Adsense ad inside my post?

I would like to place an ad inside my posts in a effort to increase clicks. I want to manually put the ad in by creating a table, placing the ad in it and putting it in my post. I think this is possible but I don't know how to create a table in my post.

If anyone has done this with their blogs can you tell me how. Thanks for your help.

Before you say it let me say:

1. I have spent the day reviewing DP and the net, found nothing or should I say I did not find an answer that worked.
2. I have downloaded the plugin Adsense Deluxe and it is not working on my wordpress 2.0 site.

I do not consider myself a techie, not even a little but this was easy, if I had not gotten the help I got I would probably have been doing this for days.

DJ, adsense deluxe just did not work. The adsense injection is 20 tiimes easier.

yes adsense deluse doesn't work for me too.
I tried mightyadsense and that also not working..

Now will try adsense injection.
