I'm Stuck With All These Domains

So I have roughly 130 domain names, most of them are randomly parked bringing in chump change. My one site that I focused on and developed is bringing in $2-3 a day. I want to ideally have all 130 sites bringing in a minimum of a dollar a day, but the problem is I don't have the expertise nor the time to develop 130 unique sites.

What would you do if you had 130 domains and didn't have the expertise or time to develop them ?

 

Let them go, you can't do everything in this world. Concentrate at what you are good at.

I have over 100 domain a year ago. Since they have no traffic and income, i just slowly let them expire or give it to others

 

I can't get myself to get rid of them, I'm ready to invest some cash into this if need to be get all the sites up and running, I can get them all hosted, the problem is I can't develop them

 

ask some people around here, see if they are willing to develop and let them share some revenue off it too.

 

I'm willing to do a 50/50 ad revenue split if somebody can really make this worthwhile

 

There is no way one person can develop 130 domains uniquely and with all there energy.

Either higher other people, or sell off some domains.

I was reading an aritcle in business 2.0 about a guy who makes 100's of sites but all the sites live off of user submitted content. Another thing you could do is buy a large article DB (or other content) and split the aritcles up between the sites. If you really cant come up with something to do maybe "sponsor" some sites. Let them use your domain and place your ads on their site.

 

You should list the domains, im sure another domain additct will take some off your hands

 

I dont want anybody to take them off my hands I believe they are quality names and feel like they are worth some good money

 

Well maybe you will get some good money off them which you can use to develop the other sites !

The way i see it is a site or name is only worth as much as its earning and yours at the moment are not earning a thing.

Everyone feels the same, that's why the reg those domain in the first place. Later you might found out that they are all crap.

Don't forget that it will take you 1000 + dollar to renew all 130 domain

 

I dont mind registering them again, I can bring in about 1200-2400 a year as it is with adsense so its paying for itself

 

You gotta ask yourself...do I want to make money off a bunch of senseless MFA's or make money from a few strong sites which you put hard work into?

Not sure of the point of this thread - You asked what you should do, and people gave good suggestions.

I can help ..I run about 150 sites and do what you plan .. there is a ton of ways to make rev .. on names ..

Start by parking all of them and watch for the winner per-say ...at that point it gives you time and the option to think 5 year plan for these names vs 5 months .. lol

as you will notice it pays for it self with the right process. :0)

Awesome! Running 150 sites must be a hard job!

 

I think you should either let them expire.. Or build them.
But renewing them every year is pointless if you aren't going to work with them.
Or find yourself a webdesigner and let him build them all slowly.
