how are my google ad placements?

 

http://www.mymegz.com/: Nice looking site. I think you should consider placing at least one of your units (in addition to the link unit) above the fold or you will miss a lot of click opportunities.

 

THanks for the help, but could you elborate a bit more? Are you saying I should place a leaderboard link right before the link unit?

Could you also critique myproxyz?

first one looks great,oh yea second one is much better.
putting more ads won't be good i guess you are all fine with your ads.

 

I suggest you put lives links to your sites instead of just text.

 

It's just a general suggestion. All your ads on that page are down below and you have to scroll before you even see them which will affect your ctr. Work something out while maintaining the nice design.

The other site is pretty well optimized.

I guess you could. The way I sometimes browse a site, my eyes want to take the shortest route between the 1st place I look when the page opens (likely top left to middle) and (in the case of your site) the Register button. If my eyes do not cross ads during this short journey then no ads will even get read, never mind clicked. Your bottom ads won't get a look in. That's a very slightly exagerated example but the amount of such lazy and impatient browsing should not be underestimated.

 

Thats very true, ill try replacing the link unit with live links... i need to get more people to know about the service though, because its just lacking visitors right now(my MAIN concern right now, im sure adsense will work out on its own if i can get more members..)
