Do you guys have an idea why is it that forums like DP and sites like godaddy

are ranked under #100 at alexas ???

does it mean, everybody is becoming a seller somewhere ?

I'm just wondering if I'm alone to think something is not taking the right turn right now ?

Alexa measure it is not always entirely accurate anyways, so i would not read too much into it.

it is not that, alexa can only take ppl with the alexa toolbar into the account.

Alexa measures or puts its rank based on visitors who have the site's toolbar installed as pointed out by vincentv.

If I were you, i wouldn't bother with it....But its a nice way to get other stats like when the site started and when the design changed..etc..etc..for ranking, its mediocre at best..

I think he means that if everyone on the internet is on digitalpoint, godaddy & similar webmaster related sites, who are we selling stuff to?:D

Agreed... and most "webmasters" tend to have the alexa toolbar installed.

True, the best way is not to turn away when supply is increasing the best way is to increase quality so the crap supply is thrown away ;)

    THANKS !

    yes, that's what I mean,

however thanks to point that alexa toolbar measures it,
now I understand that it's probably more common to use the
toolbar for webmasters than other surfers
