New Blog! Please Review on Ads Placement

Hi, I started my new blog not too long ago - www.denialworld.com
Would gratefully appreciate any sort of advice on the ads placement, blending so as to increase CTR.

Currently the CTR is non-existant, and so is traffic. Just some visits from friends. I welcome any comments & suggestions.
Also, any tips on increasing targeted traffic would be most appreciated.

 

It seems pretty well done. I would maybe put another 468x60 unit after the first blog entry on the front page. I do like your firefox link at the top. I'd bet that performs well with enough traffic.

 

I suggest putting a link unit on the sidebar, just below the navigation links.

All I did was just modify the header.php file in my template. I use WordPress in case you ask. Type in your phrase at the top, and then paste the ads code.

The design looks nice and I wish you succes. However, if I were you, I would remove AdSense from the blog for now. Why? You have very few posts and next to no traffic as you say so you won't be making any money no matter how many AdSense units you add. With AdSense at this point you are going to spend most of your imte checking your stats and hoping for clicks instead of working on fresh, good content. In addition, people find blogs with too much advertising offensive and until you get a good number of return visitors it is better to avoid adding too many AdSense units.

Site looks pretty good. But it is loading a bit slowly.. The posts and ad placements are good.
