    Hello!
My website has quite a lot of content and I'm starting to get more visitors each day. So things look promising, except for my Adsense CTR!
    Please have a look here
And let me know what you think of my adsense placements. How can I improve my CTR?

    Thanks!

I love the content of your website and I hope you do well. On the dogs page there were a couple of interesting ads right at the bottom. I nearly missed them as there was a lot of white space between the drawings and the ads.

I think the site is lacking text content... you should try to add more text around the ad area.

Thanks guys...well its hard to add more text since the site is really about artwork and displaying it well. Its also hard to get targeted ads because of this.

Anyone else have any advice? Thanks again!

You are pretty much answering yourself. The ads are not really about the site subject, so people who find your site do not need what the ads are offering, hence they dont click the ads.
If you want more clicks, add more content, even if its not really related to site subject.

You need more written content. Maby write something about techniques.

As already said I think you need more text within which you can then blend ads - perhaps describe the drawings, biographies of the artists or biographies of famous animal artists? Then play about with the placement ... best to move ads around, monitor for a few days and see how it goes...

you are going to have to figure out a way to get more text on your pages....use H1, bold, underline and italics to highlight keywords for your ad targeting.

ok i see what you mean.
One question regarding writing more content: if I write lots of content and add it on mypage.com/page2 will this put more related ads on mypage.com even though i added the content to /page1 ?

If you put your ads on page1, adsense code will use data only from page1 to generate and show ads content. No other pages are involved in the process.

Put some news box at the bottom of every page and feed the news with various subjects/content. Can easily be done with RSS.
