    Hi guys,
    I ve tried out joomla and I must say it seems really good but it has a few bugs, therefore I am looking for another cms. Does anyone recommend a CMS which is powerful and easy to use? Many thanks

    Is there the possibilty to remove the blog from wordpress? Therefore the homepage would be a page and not a blog.

    Joomla is nice but if you want a simple site it's very easy to get caught up tweaking joomla and never develop your site. If your site has 1 strong theme to a niche lets say I think wordpress is way to go. If you plan on making a massive community with writiers for you and multiple sections updating constantly than Joomla.

    wordpress offer the ability to make static pages ... and sub-pages

    long time ago i made one : www.galicia-frc.org

    If you are not looking fwd to use wordpress then I would say go with drupal instead of joomla .

    Unless you make a mod in your robots I'm assuming which I haven't yet...

    GOogle, Yahoo and MSN will most likely ONLY index your PDF files on joomla EVEN if you disable .PDF. Nothing worse then getting hits but they only get a PDF with no links....

    how does google see your site as a blog and what nees to change for it not to be?
