My website http://www.ipgp.net get good paying clicks, but the CTR is very low, i tried different ads placement to raise CTR, but the highest improvement was +1%. I tried with a horizontal link unit at the top of the page too, but the same thing, i'm out of ideas. My visitors don't click on the ads in the top and the bottom, they only click on the link unit from top-left.

Do you have any suggestion to imrove my CTR ? I'm thinking to put the link unit in the middle of the page, but i'm afraid i will loose all the clickers, because i can't put more than 1 link unit, and almost all clicks comes from the top-left link unit.

    hi dark

guess the problem is the fact your visitors don't go into your site to find something, other than their IP...!

i believe ads work better in content websites: the visitor comes to site, and clicks an ad when leaves... but this is just my opinion :)

you have another problem from my point of view. try matching the color of your ad link unit with the blue color of your navigational or menu links, that might just work for you. or the other way around, you can try and change the color of your navigations/menus to match the color of the ads.

hope this helps you get more and quality clicks.

Remove the top ad and place one 250 x 250 square ad on the left side of your content ("Ip Address Lookup
Global Positioning") and another one on the right side.

thank you all for your suggestions, i will make the changes soon, but now, the priority is a blog, it will receive a lot of traffic, and i want to be sure that the visitors will convert in a decent amount of money... please tell me if this placement is ok or give me some suggestions.

The 250 x 250 ad on the right is good! You can blend it even more by making your links (below) bold to match the adsense link name font style. You've got the idea though ;)
