    Sorry if I'm slow but I've noticed that many sites are placing 1 image ad and 1 text ad beside each other ever since adsense changed their TOS about... placing images beside ads.

    How effective is this? Has anyone tried it and noticed an increase in their CTR?

    the problem is the minimum size is 200 * 200 , it would be great if we had a smaller image

    Not yet.. I'm going to give it a go for a week and post any improvements. (I only used text only ads). Seeing how it's a 'trend' it must be more effective...
