blending and use of images

This isn't my site, but I'm curious about the placement here:

I mean it's fantastic blending, but I aren't the pictures next to the ads against the rules now? Or is this ok?

 

are you sure those are ads by google..i cant even see that

the blending is awesome..i suspect they are premium publisher

 

Good point. I can't see the ads by google thing. Just saw the 'sponsored links' though and assumed it was google. I guess they could be anything.

 

They are actually from google, I accidently clicked on the link 'cause I thought it would lead me to their page and saw the URL google flash for a second.. so.. they are probably premium members, if not, they've broken lots of TOS

 

How do you become a premium member? There doesn't seem to be anything special on that site to me.
