Around 200-300 visitor daily

I have a website with around 200-300 visitors daily, but only generate around $0.5/day...

Is it normal case or under pay?

 

Depends on a number of things including the site niche and you CTR (% of clicks)

Are the 200-300 unique visitors? 50 cents is on the low site, but not too bad. When I first started, I made average $0.20/day for a few weeks. Is your site a forum? Forums tend to have lower clicks.

 

What is your website? Either post it here or PM me and I'll glady give you some tips.

 

Is your site a forum or game/image/video based site? These types of sites are renowned for having low CTR (~2%).

If it's an information site however you should expect CTR of around 3~5% on average and if so then you can consider yourself to be earning what you should with that amount of traffic.

If your CTR is below this consider optimizing your AdSense ads by blending, A/B testing etc... I wrote a section on one of my sites about this which you might be interested in: AdSense Optimization

change the colors of your adsense ads, this often helps to improve ctr

 

a good ctr would be around 2 %, that may be around 6 clicks/300 visitors.
If one click is 10 cents--> 0.6 $. Do you get ads which fit with your content or not? Perhaps you are getting poor paying ads. With your ad filter you can exclude some of them. Put channels to see which section does the most profit and reload your page often to see which ads are shown in which ad section. Then you might find out the ads that may pay poor. The site looks really boring, there is nearly nothing on it, you should redesign it and give it more color.

 

I get 400-500 a day and only around 2-5 clicks and get around $0.10 a day.

 

Your site probably doesn't get any clicks because the site doesn't grab the visitors attention. When they arrive (however they get there) they see a page without much content so either click back or go straight onto the site that is featured.

You should change the design of your site so it's more attractive and add a little more content.

What is your site about??

 

The main reason is that your ad is right at the extreme bottom of the page. People rarely click there. Place it at the top and you should (90% chance) see an increase in the CTR.

Nice - I like the changes you've made.

You should move the advert up though so it's above the fold (See here for what that means). You should consider changing the size of the ad for that though... Maybe a small ad just under the date or something.

 

I would say better meta tags and more content on site will help. Front page should have more on it than what is on your site.
