The $50 Challenge

What can you do with $50 ?

I'm going to start a challenge here...
The Setup: Youre just starting out and have exactly $50, not a single other thing to your name to use, just $50 and the sweat of your brow. Your challenge is to make it $500 in less then two months.

RULES:
1) Start with EXACTLY AND ONLY $50.
2) NO additional money may be added, unless it is profits earned from the original $50.
3) Any resources used at all, other than sweat equity, must come from the $50.
4) Document your process here when finished to share with everyone.


The goal is to turn $50 into $500 (just $500, not a residual of $500 a month)

I could do this but it would involve something called "matched-betting" which couldn't be done in America...also its hardly webdesign related

I would assume so. It sounds like a good idea iluminatus.

 

I will buy some food. Crap cheap food, but at least I will not die during this 2 monthes (not by american prices of course, but if possible to do that in USA then ok). Then will go to streets and sell everyone the course "How to live 2 monthes of $50" for $5 or so. I'll sell 100 copies and .... I'll made it! Wow!

 

I am up for it. I can easily setup a website for that price. And specific products can be sold on a webite like that. If you are gonna go ahead with this count me in. Thanks

Actually it can be anything you want,as long as it is legit... If people can come up with ideas to make $500 from $50,then i'm sure the $5000 can be made out of $500

 

$250 is a more logical bet.

$5 for 3 .info domains
$5 for a membership to proxy templates
$15 cheap proxy hosting (visage host)
$0 whitefyre php proxy
$5 on lunch
$20 on link exchanges

$50 spent - 2 months later, sell your proxies for roughly $150 - $200 each.

 

You can have your own marketing website for $47.00 all setup and ready to go. Then you can spend the rest of the week promoting it, (forums, articles etc...) and you should make around $500.00 without too much problems.

We have users who do that in less than a week, ($47.00 to $+500.00).

Just set up a cheap portfolio site and sell your service... it's extremely easy to make $500, and you don't even need $50 to do it... just some talent in an area where people are hiring. Or a cheap site to sell an informational product (a couple PLR packs, an e-book, etc.). I'm sure most people could very easily get to $500 in two months if they just put a bit of work into it.
