    I have adsense on my forums and it has only a .10% CTR. I have tied for better placement and now I get about .50% :(.


    What's the best ad placement for a forum?

    Place a large rectangle adsense unit in your postbit template to blend it with post's content. This should give you a CTR of over 1%

    come on gy 10% is very good for ads in forums... just get more traffic and clicks will grow.

    -Block ad under the first post in a topic

    Those two are the best placements. I've owned many forums in the past and got my CTR to around 1%, which is very good for a forum.

    I have experimented a lot with Adsense in my forums.

    I am satisfied with my current placement - www.e-investing.in

    Using contrasting colors for ad title has worked well.
