What should I do? (Ideas for Projects) :)

Hi!

I want to start a new project. I have knowledge in Windows Software (.NET), Web (PHP, MySQL, Unix..). Graphic Design. Have a small software directory + adsense, but thats all.

I am sitting here for weeks now and am depressed, I have the BIG power to create something new, but have no ideas.

Anything i think i found something cool to develope, I search for it @google and see other 10000 sites with the same or similar idea... and that brings me down

I really dont know what / where should I start?
- again a directory?..
- a new software?...
- clone something big like youtube, ebay, google...?

I dont have any ideas. Does anybody know how can I find new ideas?... is there a site for which shows me the current web trends? (except google trends)
What is the "next big thing"?.. or how do I create it?

Should I create a blog with a niche and post some articles daily?.. what is the best and not oversaturated niche?

How can I create new Ideas?.. I maybe have the solutions, but can't find the real problems... please help

I am also waiting to join a project in PHP / My Sql.Since I am a newbie I would like to increase my knowledge by working with some geeks.

From my experience, the best way to get ideas or be inspired is to not look for them.

Go away from the computer and do something else that you enjoy, walk, excersice or take a shower. Sooner or later, the ideas will come to you! The best way to be productive is to not be.

An idea comes to ur mind when you are not looking for something but you are enoiying something & suddenly you realize you can do something new & something gr8.

I have some great project ideas in mind and it looks like you have some great skills. I would be happy to make some projects with you, in the future!

 

create fully automatic directory submission software, create a free expired domains finder with PR or something like that. Also try to join some freelancer site and do some projects for experience.

 

Well some other also suggested this.. But if you want a perfect and good idea then dont think about it when you are in front of your computer.. But when you take a walk in the nature or in the town..
Also when you are sleeping.. sleeping comes up with fantastic ideas

My 2 cents (since you asked)Here is my idea: A you-tube type site that holds contests with payouts. You could hold contests monthly or weekly and this would keep people coming back to your site over and over again (and they would for sure tell there friends about it). Let the viewers vote for the winner this way everyone would want to tell people to register.

I'm only telling my idea because I will never be able to do this myself. My original thoughts were for an adult site...can you imagine the contests that would be held there?...lol

Whoever gets rich from this please don't forget where you got the idea.

 

There are couple sites that already pay you for video content. YouTube is huge and i dont think its worth opening any new video hosting sites. It costs too much money and many legal issues.

 

I have a couple of ideas... shopping comparisons are very popular these days. I am thinking about starting a few niche shopping comparisons
