Ads on my tutoring site?

Discussion in 'Placement / Reviews / Examples' started by mnymkr, Mar 9, 2007.

I am building a chemistry tutoring site. I actually have had it for a while just now getting around to working on it.

I have it up at www.mychemistrytutor.com

I am also building a new template at www.bjrtechnologies.com/joomla

I am having a hard time merging how I want my site to look at putting ads in hotspots.

Can you give me advice between the two templates so I can build the second template optimally?

    Thanks so much

I would make your ad's border the samr dark red (so the height matches your header, makes it more blended in). I would also change your link/text to white so it's more visible (right now its kind of hard to read).

This is an educational site, so there it would be harmful to put links in the usual hotspots.

I think the link placement is fine, just change the colors of the text a little.

I liked the mychemistrytutor as opposed to Joomla template. I believe the prior has more visibility and chances of getting more clicks.

I see no difference. And I think you should switch the colors of the Ad Title and Description around.
