You've gone for the contrasting technique.
Better to blend your ads - make the ad background same as the page background, make ad border same colour again, make ad text same as page text. You get the idea.

Yes I agree with CountryBoy, I can see the effect you are trying to achieve but I think it would look a lot better blended.

man those new ad design are really cool...:D

but i think its better to blend everything with your backgorund, or just the backgorund of your ads and leave the border contrasted...colors seem to match though...

    dont have a forum or a blog...:p

Whether to have adsense or not is your decision - question yourself - do I want to earn money? If your answer is yes then you know what to do.

Now about your design - contrast might work as well. But you want to show your ads lot more then you do now. Currently it is only on homepage of your blog. Any individual pages and your side bar is gone - include sidebar in every page, plus you can also include adsense with your content. See my receipes blog in the sig - you will get an idea as to what I am suggesting.

I like how you matched the adsense background with your header's background, but I think it looks too harsh behind the white background, what I would do is use a lighter blue.. and see how that goes.

that color of ad background is a little too contrasting for my taste. Try either a softer color, or an image background from http://adclustr.com/

You can wrap the text around the ads and get more clicks
