I just increased adsense income on one of my site by 300% in 10 days! And it is just by doing 2 things, which you can do as well.

First all i did was, submitted to about 10 free directories link submissions.

Then i invested about $80 in buying some niche links in the paid directories, and of cos with some Page rank. PR2-4 the links page of cos, not the homepage of the directories. Bought about 4 such links and 10 days later... I was in for a shock.

Hope this will help some people increase their exposure online.. Bear in mind that, on top of the 2 techniques i used, all my pages are very optimised and has got a 2 year presence, so result may varies, so does the required number of links. But one thing is for sure.... one way links will always be a good link. And no, i m not trying to solicit links selling. Just a thing i found out.

Well done. What sort of 300% are we talking about here. $1 to $4 or $10 to $40. Its a big difference. Either way, well done!

 

Congratulations with increasing your traffic 300%. I can't imagin how much traffic you must have got before hand. Submitted to a few free directories most probably won't bring you much extra traffic including submitting to the paid ones unless your links were placed on popular directories where your link was placed on a page that gets a very good exposure.

Anyway, it's all good with backlinks and some extra traffic so keep it up.

I doubt if the free directories had an immediate impact, I think they are usually more of a long-term bet, but I have seen a few good PR2-4 links having a very fast impact, if the anchor text is carefully chosen and the keywords not terribly competitive.

Moving from the bottom of page 1 to the first three on page 1 in google can make a very large difference to traffic, at least threefold, and sometimes a few good links can swing it. they help promote inner pages indirectly as well.

As you say, age and existing SEO probably also meant you were well placed to rise.

I suspect there are quite a few people here with the knowledge (and cash) to spend $$$ on promoting a new site, confident they will recuperate the spend very quickly. I'm not yet one of them!

The increment is something humble, from $5-$15 per day, which is minor in a way, but 300% increase ( 200% increase opss) is good. Imagine that applies to my other sites too.... hmmm...

And yes, i want to show some directories, but i really dun rem which are the ones which i submitted.. i have deleted all the emails and but if u asked me which paid directories i will know becos i paid for them wth paypal...

No... not advertisiing for them... and there is no commission...

Just some dir which i think are affordable and probably worth submitting to. (again depending on which category and the PR of that individual links page.)

Linksjuice.com PR 6 found myself a PR5 page... so that was worth $24.97
Ops, i cannot find the rest of the directories cos some paypal details are not shown either.

Of cos i put it in my own directory for an additional boost. hehaehahe..

Just a hint, Index-it.net and 2yi.net are 2 directories which i think is value for money too. They both also have strong link strength and they are going at very affordable prices... My strategy is if you have a less competitive niche site, fork out $80 to buy some nice paid links, (esp on these directories) and spend some time getting as much free links as possible.. who knows.. it might help boost your adsense income.... Tell me if it works for you too.. at least then we know that my theory is approving.. and if your income increases... treat me a pint of orange juice!! ( i dun really drink beer! )

I'm ready to try out on buying so I can get pagelinks, but most probably only on PR7 and PR8 sites.

 

Moe traffic = more clicks = more earnings. No doubt about that. Just keep adding unique content and you're onto a winner.
