    St. John's, Newfoundland is the best city ever, at least in my opinion. It's quiet compared to larger centers and is the oldest city in North America so it has lots of places to go and stuff to see.

    I don't live there but I like the city.

    Dallas, Atlanta, and Denver are all major cities which are significantly less expensive than New York.

    Plus, New Yorkers often have very poor manners. People in those three cities are much nicer.
