It's frowned upon and percieved as spam if you do it all the time, but if you only do it when you are sure whatever you are submitting is digg-worthy, and submit stuff from other sources as well, then you shouldn't have any problems

It isn't but don't submit TONS at once.. as your account can get banned. I would suggest spacing them out in intervals when trying to submit all of your blog posts.

Exactly, it's not spam but if you do a bunch of them and don't Digg any other posts chances are your account will be shut down. Try and mix in Diggs for your own articles with ones for other Digg stories.

what if it's a tutorial site? (each post = a tutorial) I would be submitting 1 or 2 posts a week.

Yes they will stay there. They will be in some deep pages. People will be able to find your stuff whenever they perform a search for your keywords.

even though Google devalues digg links a bit, digging your own site will still give you backlinks even if they aren't too valuable...but it's better to use the site for its purpose than for a backlink builder

I don't understand how some blogs have a link for people to digg each one of their articles.

I wanna know how to do that, lol :)

You just simply add a nice icon w/ the logo of the social bookmarking site + a link to the digg page.

They do this so that if other people are interested too, they'll digg it too (which might get you to first page if you get enough diggs)

It is fine but too many and they nay ban you. I liked digg much better when it was just articles. Now I see people just digging their proxy site or some crappy sites. I would only digg a blog post if it was worthy to be dugg not just to have your post on digg. The more it is abused the less it will be worth for SEO or traffic.
