I've just recently updared my website. I would enjoy some critiquing. tell me how my site feels, how my ad placement is, am I providing good and valuable information? I just need to re think whether I'm going in the right direction with my website, or if I need to change things up a bit.

please check my site out at www.randlife.com

    Thanks,

Pretty good but you should consider placing that first block above the fold.

I thought I did, it should be displaying throughout my posts. Would it be more effective to ad a skyscapper on my sidebar?

Looking fine, but blocking your main text will improve things.

Good placement. For the URLS: change it to black so they blend in more.. you don't want the urls to stand out or else it'll look like they're ads.

I mean place an ad so that it can be seen when the page loads without any scrolling.

    two suggests

    * adding one square ads unit above the comment box may be an alternative.
    * adding a ads unit under main menu on the rigth side may be a good alternative for you
