very nice layout. Here's a quick tip: use different adsense channels to track your CTR based on different title colors. Your dark red title blends well, but try all types of red.

Each will result in higher or lower ctr.

Here's the link to the html color code chart I use:

I like this chart because it lines up every color horizontally according to darkness. Adjust the red title, and track results.

Due to your black background, your current ad placement looks optimized.

New Findings:

Strategically adjust your Adsense ad title color

Adsense units placed outside of my content performed well with darker titles, compared to the rest of my sites links.

Adsense units placed inside of my content (contextual) performed well with brighter titles when compared to the site's links.

Conclusions: Readers eyes dont pick up bright links outside of content because most people scan your pages. A darker title outside of the text will catch their eye.

Same goes for contextual ads, just the opposite though. Brighter titles look more similar to site links, and the reader believes the ad is highly related to the topic (that's what section targeting is for)

Ads wrapped with your content perform extremely well. I also moved from 4 units to 1, and have enjoyed the results.

Experiment with many different color combinations. Try blue, red, yellow, green, and all types of ad titles, while tracking each variation through the channels.

You have great ad placement. Stick with that.
