Yesterday this site had around 200 impressions, but my CTR was 0. I think I have OK ad placement, so why would not one person click on the ads?

Heres the site: MMORPG Search Engine

But a horizontal banner at the top of the page.
Also, labeling an ad with "Quick Links" is against adsense TOS.
Change the color of your ads, they stick out and are really ugly.

Actually 200 impressions is not that much. I have usually 1 click every 200 impressions. Every day is different. So tomorrow it might be better. I just checked and you might want to blend your ads with the website better.

Yeah 200 is really no a lot of impressions, A lot of those could have been you, and DP traffic won't click on adsense.

You should really match the background of your ads to the background of your blog.

If you are looking to maximize, wrap your text around your Adsense ads in the main content.

Obviously your visitors think otherwise. It's not about you it's about them. Move, change, rework, test.

I was going to suggest a huge re-design, but figured that wasn't really what the OP was asking for. It took me three-four redesigns for one of my sites to finally raise CTR where I was happy with it.

Maybe you might want to make the colour of the ads similar to other content and see what happens. To be honest, maybe people aresimply not interested in clicking on some subjects.

I'm considering just turning into a blog, so no search.

Ah okay. Might be a better idea. Is the content hand written by you?
