I always check both local and world news (CNN, etc) first before anything else when I go online, unless I never get a chance to get to the Net until the evening. If this is the case, the first thing i will check online is my yahoo and gmail email accounts.. nothing exciting really . How bout you?

When I boot my computer, I start both Firefox and Thunderbird at the same time.

    - The sites I visit first, is normaly a custom made site I have, showing me latest updates on all my sites, including earnings, simple stats, quicklinks, quick moderation etc.
    - Then I head to the Google reader, to see what's up today.
    - Then I visit my daily boards, and posts a little.
    - Facebook

This actually takes up alot of my time, but I feel it's worth it. I keep intouch with my real friends, and trought blogs and boards webmaster related friends, I learn new stuff and I keep up with time :]

I hit Gmail and then I visit my own sites. News can wait, I'm too interested in seeing how my sites are doing to bother with anything else.
