My blog ad placements and blending

Hi there all, I've been running a blog for a little while and have toyed with adsense on it. What do you think of the current effort? I've tried to make the ads both blend, and stand out at the same time.

I would make the ad above first post with 2 ads in it.

placement is great...but blend the link color with your text color looks not obvious that way...and change the color of the title in your ad to what blends with your layout but blue is ok...:D

It's OK, why not also blend the link site name (the green one), and I suggest to move the ads below the header (it's to crowded there) or change the ads format.

Yes, I thought of that too, but it doesn't fit. It cuts off the right hand side of 'Ads by Google', so that's no good. I'm not sure how to make the page wider.

Colors work well together. You can even try integrating a 1/2 banner or 468 x 60 ad unit between your posts.

Thanks for that 8everything. The 1/2 banner or 468x60 don't quite fit (see the comment above). I'll have to do a bit of reading to see how I change the sylesheet for this particular template to make it wider.
