Hello I've been running my website for about a week now, my CTR is only 0.22%.

I am sure the pro's can offer me some serious advise on increasing the CTR or other things resulting in higher profit! I will be advertising the website soon, therefore wanted to get everything figured out before :).

Thank you so much in advance! :D

Square and rectangular ads tend to get a better CTR.

I would recommend changing the color of the top banner to match the neon yellow color of your links, its just a suggestion though :)

Also your site is still very new so its almost impossible to get a decent grasp on how you should change your ads. This is the part where you get to take baby steps and try new stuff out, if it increases your CTR, wash rinse repeat ;)

    No problem mudi,

I have an article on my website (check sig) for using ad color rotation to keep your visitors from becoming blind to ads. Its written with the idea that not everyone knows how to do the technical stuff when it comes to editing HTML/PHP/JAVA so it should be fairly easy to follow along, its only 3 steps.

I have my important ads on color rotation and the rest of my ads on a static color theme for testing and it does help! :)

Thanks for the compliment, however i don't quite understand what you are reffering to , when you state "have you tried to add one link unit under your main menu?" I am lost.
