Ive had this website up for about 12 days now and while I had the overwhelming majority of my traffic last weekend I was suffering from a horrible CTR. I redesigned the site this morning and today has been my best adsense day yet! Now I only wish my ads would come up on my homepage more consistently! Heres the link for review.

Yeah the homepage is hit or miss with ads right now. But its better than before when the ads would never come up. I was about to contact google and see what to do.

I can`t view adsence ads either - I checked your source code and I see google adsence is in your html.

Its worth checking - Your adsence ads have got to be viewable

    Best Wishes

I think you just need to place more ads. If you place some in the content, surrounded on all sides with content people will click on it. Do not depend on the skyscraper ad on the left. They will get you some clicks but are deffinatly not the best.

Your ads are showing up for me OK, as far as I can tell. In the context of the overall page design, they strike me as quite discreet. How about testing changing the adsense link to blue to see what that does to your CTR?

Having the skyscraper placed where it is means that 75% of it is 'below the fold' - at least on my screen. You could try a placement higher up the page - maybe a different shape, too - and perhaps put adlinks above the main menu.
