Not to be too intrusive but does this work?

I put adsense back on my forum after a long time because i believed that the ads ruined how the forum looked but that was back with SMF. I converted to vbulletin lately and I have implemented the ads again. I wanted to see if what i did was a good placement because I don't want to be too intrusive to the website content but also want some revenue made out of this.

    http://www.gamers-forum.com

The front page has two ad units on the bottom and every other page has one ad on the bottom.

    Responses is appreciated!

i only one ads unit at the footer of your site and one link unit on the rigth side of your site.

i think you must add one ads unit inside your first post and one after the first post

If you're going to run ads, I think you need to have them above the fold - unless you know that a good proportion of your visitors are going to scroll all the way down. You can find ways of incorporating ads without letting them overwhelm your content. For example, you might perhaps redesign your page to have horizontal adlinks below the menu bar.

I would have thought most users of a free forum would accept the presence of some ads near the top of the page - and personally I would find an ad block above all the posts or in the top of the sidebar less intrusive than in between individual posts.

Your forums look great. I bookmarked them since I am an avid gamer myself. Your ads look great, but could match the grey background little more. You could also probbally add another google ad below your side bar
