AdSense placement help!

Hi!
My website is www.infoborder.com (you have to go deeper to find more AdSense - for example click on a news or click on a camera name).
My CTR is very low ~1% and some clicks are very low ~$0.02. Average clicks /day is 3 and average value of a click is ~$0.1.
Can you review it to see wether the AdSense ads are in the right places or not!
Please give me a suggestion!

 

I would suggest place another 120x600 ad on right and replace the 468x60 ad with 728x90 and move it under header column.

 

I have visited your site . Your site is not optimized yet for adsense .
There is lots of things to change for higher ctr . After optimization you can have even more that 10% ctr though ctr depends various factors .

1.remove the ad from upper fold . Put one medium rectangle (300*250 ) ad just after first post , you can use table or css for better placement ( I suggest you to use open air pallet with blue links )

2.Put one ad unit after all posts before additional news ( here you can put 468*60) banner hare also blend it with content.

3.Put one link unit at bottom navigation . use same link color .

4. you can utilize right vertical to put wide skyscraper .

5. You can put relevant electronics referral products . Which has higher payments . According to your site nature there are more chances for sell , you can also put reviews of that products .

I think this change will help you to have around or more than 10% CTR .

I'd move that bottom adsense block up beside the chitika block. And I'd keep that fairly consistent - the various ad sizes at the bottom of different pages was kind of weird.

And I'd consider doing some adlinks in a box on the right sidebar. Just like the "Digital camera reviews" box, but it would say "Sponsors" instead.

How many AdSense ads may I use in one page?

 

I'd check Adsense terms to be safe, but I think it's 3 ad units, 1 link unit, and 1 search.

I think there was a fairly recent update though that changed things slightly.

 

you should place a link unit on the top of your menu (on the left).
in addition, you should place 200X200 ad unit in your content!!!

No man 3 link and 2 search box per page are allowed , TOS has been updated long time ago ( about 2 months ago ) Please check TOS again
You can also promote specific referral products ( referral 2.0)

 

Yeah, that's what it is now: 3 ad units, 3 link units, 2 search units.

Why anyone would use that many is beyond me though!
