Can someone pls advise on which social networks (like myspace) allow for bulletins with url link?
I just need a quick list of guaranteed quality networks that i can build 'friends' & cruelly spam them ;)
    Appreciated

Yea the rules are changing Very Fast on these sights because of the spamming that has been going on

Places like squidoo were so favoured by the search engines that you could write a spammy article about almost any keyphrase and it would rank at the top of the serp's within a few days.

Then the search engines got wise and began to ignore squidoo (and the others) all together until they made some HEAVY DUTY changes.

Spamming becoming a big problem for webmasters maintain the site quality. I have a small site having few thousand visitors daily. I am getting tired of spams already. I am sure big sites would have to take it more seriously.

So the bottom line is stay away from advertising blindly on the various social networking sites.

Definately, be clever when using these sites for seo purposes. If you're obviously posting for ranking reasons you're going to get nailed and banned.
