Why pay so much at start when you can buy hosting from specialized proxy hosts? You can take a look at www.cloakhost.com offers.

 

Do you have any demo site hosted on that server? Such as PHProxy scripted proxy site.

I have a proxy hosted on their VPS 256 plan - http://www.letmeon.info
I don't use cPanel though (it uses way too many resources)


Also guys I own about 15 proxies at the moment but I can't decide over quality or quantity. Like 20 proxies earning $50 a month each or 200 proxies earning $5 a month each.

 

I see. How long have you hosted with it? I'd prefer to have Cpanel to at least have some kind of stats and stuff.

Doesn't owning 20 proxies x 50/e = 200 proxies x 5/e Whichever is easier to manage If you prefer 200 proxies, then go for it.

 

About 3 days I've been with them and it looks like I'll stay with them and eventually move up to a dedicated.

I think 200 proxies might be easier to get traffic to.

Either people are hotlinking to your proxified pages or the stats program in cPanel is incorrect.

 

How do you guys promote your proxies? Do you just submit to topsites? Or do you market on myspace and stuff as well?

 

well i have like 3 proxy sites with few add on domains.
but proxy hosting is too much headache i have move 3 times in 3 months caz of bad hosting. i dont make much with these prosy site, say about $30 per month.
so i can not afford a dedicated server.

so today i got fed up with my hosting, and have decided to go with VPS. so i have order one VPS, which is $39.99 per month.
i know i earn about $30 but i just wanaa see how is $39.99 VPS hosting works with proxy.

 

Is it possible that people can use the ip's without visiting the websites?

Like using one of those hiding programs

I feel sorry for you imteaz...last time I saw you buying a cheap proxy hosting.
BTW, there are some quality proxy hosts too and can save a lot of money you spend for a VPS.

What is the best popunder/popup advertiser? Adversal seems to be getting me almost nothing and I noticed that most of them are blocked by Firefox.


Also, in your opinion what is the best way to get indexed? I have been doing link exchanges, have all the seo ready, and still nothing from Google in 2 days. I was going to submit to directories next. Any other ideas?

CPU wise, since you recommend cgi proxy, how many uniques could stand a celeron 2.0ghz?... a P4 2.4 ghz or an amd64 3000+ ? (I'm also considering getting a dedi instead of a vps)
