It's hard to give a unique value since viewers can view one page or 50 pages in a single day, not to mention abuse and good ol China traffic we all love so much with the 1000 image porn sites. I wouldn't recommend the celeron or P4 and makre sure that AMD isn't a Sempron (it should be Athlon). Also make sure you install mod_perl and optimize apache. There is a good guide here by funkywizard... http://www.freeproxies.org/blog/200...nce-tuning-apache-for-mod_perl-and-cgi-proxy/

That would be enough and the CPU could handle 2-3GB ram worth of traffic. However, I would expect a Xeon server to be more expensive. A core2duo 6600 is better then that CPU and should be cheaper. There is no point in going Xeon unless you want dual CPU or 8+ GB of ram for an intel system.

I like how they offer 2000GB bandwidth included, 3000GB for $100 more /month and then 10mbps "unlimited" for $100 more /month when you can only do 3000GB on 10mbps if you were using it maxed 24/7 for the entire month. Good business right there :D.

"I need unlimited bandwidth (even though no such thing exists) so I'll get the 10mbps unlimited one even though it would be the same as whats included"

lol, you don't need cpanel at all. Cpanel is just a GUI for all the services running in the background

If anyone has a proxy list, or any way I can build traffic on my proxy message me. Also doing link exchanges. Nobody answered my last question here:

What is the best popup advertising for proxies?

I was using Adversal but hated it and went over to paypopup and like those better. Adversal gets blocked too much by Firefox imo.

Can anyone else confirm this? They approved my sites so I figured it was all right. I could not find a TOS on their site.

Topsites are really a waste of time, I would try other methods that have been mention in this thread.

Paypopup is horrible no matter what their terms are. You don't want to submit your users to their horrible service.

Do some searches here for all the info you need on paypopup.

    I choose adversal.

Not Really. If you can get to the top of the topsites somehow, you will get some good traffic. ;)

If you any of you guys run proxies for myspace users, then you can try listing them on the myspace directory, and use the link back code provided on the page - to help more proxy owners, and myspace sites become aware of the service.
