Which is best CMS for SEO?

    Hi,

I'm needing a CMS that is easy to use. I do not need a million custom features.

All I will use it for is to make a page/post on a single topic containing text and photos.

I've used Wordpress in the past but I'm wondering if there is anything better that is super good for SEO.

My aim is to have all my traffic coming from SEO in a few months time.

    thanks

I have heard Drupal is good for SEO but I can't say for sure because I haven't put it to the test yet, but from what I have seen from developing in drupal so far it does look like it will be very SEO'd. There is a module that will automatically create customized SEO urls for you and a google sitemaps module. There are also modules where you can customize meta tags and page titles. It also makes good use of div tags.

Yeah - Drupal.. how else do you think I rank so well for so many keywords?

When properly configured and with a few simple tricks Drupal is VERY SEO friendly.. I was getting about 3,000 uniques per day, all 100% organic search-engine traffic, mostly from Google after about 3 months. That's not ALL because of Drupal, but i think it was a big part of it..

There really are no tricks to Drupal for SEO. The templates (the few there are) are very well formed. They also having a pinging module like Worpress and if you use the Path auto module you get great seo friendly links.

Yes, there are a few tricks for on page/on site SEO with Drupal - like using the recent-comments feature with your chosen keywords. it's simple - but it works. i go into this in a little more detail on THIS PAGE of my free eBook.
