Review ads placement on my site

Hey - I'm not sure about the colors of the site but the ad placements/colors seem to go well where/how they are...

 

Still do you have any idea to improve placement?

I like it. You know why?

The ads in the middle content section look a lot like the category links for your free e-books, so you're probably going to get a few clicks that way. Also, the ads are quite targeted for your site, mostly e-book related, so awesome job with this one

 

A little suggestion that might blend your ads more: give some description for your categories, so it will look like adsense ads (just like in your inner pages).
If you want a little bit more crazy , you can form a placement like this:

categories adsense
adsense categories

I'm not suggesting this though as it can make your visitors quite upset and worse, if google support is the one who upset

 

Thanks. Well, I am getting good clicks on advertisements now. But still traffic is too low. So will have to think about dragging traffic to my site now.
Can you suggest what to do for getting high traffic. Right now I am promoting it through yahoo groups only, which is not working properly for me. And even SEO won't help much as its taking much time to get good ranking and my site is very new so obviously it will take much longer to get good ranking in SEs.

Would like to hear more about that too.

I think you are playing with fire. You can only have up to 3 ads on a single page. And, google doesn't like ads next to images that blend into the site.

 

i think ads are well placed and layout is even good..

only thing that you require to have a enhanced color scheme..
right now you can get a 15-20% CTR..

 

Well, I know its not advisable to blend images with ads but i think it will do as many webmasters are doing it nowadays. Even I am afraid about that but cant' help myself to remove images as its looking really cool.

And about number of ads, nowadays google allow 3 Ads for Content and 3 Ads for Links. So there isn't any problem with number of ads.

placement and colours are good but i'm not sure that using adsense on empty categort is OK . did you check it?

 

Yeah. Actually I am trying to find and put sub categories or books to those categories. But couldn't add anything for last 2 months coz of workload of other websites and studies .

Well, I will update my site soon and till then I will have to run it as it is.

 

If it were my site, I would take the two side by side rectangles and put them at the top. That way they would be above the fold. I like the layout and colors otherwise. Nice job.
