Can anyone help me with this? My CTR on my blog (http://blog.advoor.net) is usually below 1, so with an average of around 2000 views, I sometimes just barely get 1 click

The ads are relevant, and i've tried to blend them in as much as I could. What am I doing wrong?

Site is not working so i can not look at it. I like to have adsense on left hand side of page and top of page. I put a text link under image or top of post and ads on left hand side of page.

    1) The Ad units in the top don't covert. Use a Vertical Link Unit there. Blend the colour of the links on the ad with the live links of your page

    OR

Use a Horizontal link unit in your sidebar. It works wonders.

    2) The Ad Units on the sidebar look like ads - you've probably not blended them. Try blending them, you'll get more clicks.

    3) Try adding rectangular ad units (336x280) between posts - these ad units get most converts. Also, don't forget to blend them.

    4) Add google search.

    5) Change the template if its possible - its really not eye catching and the visitor feels like leaving the site the very second.

    Hope these help.

    Thanks,

    Regards.

If it were my site I would get rid of the text link across the top of the page and put a large rectangle there. It seems to do better and shows up much better. Be sure and blend in the background and use these values:
    link color=#000080
    url color=#999999
    text color=#000000

These colors and background blending works!! Try it.
To blend backgrounds flawlessly I found this tool that will give you the code for your background color then just plug the number into your adsense code, get it here: http://www.nattyware.com (not an affiliate link)
